Glance collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers that receive your information.
What we collect
Nothing. Glance has no backend. We never receive your tasks, events, health figures, habits, or any identifier. We cannot see your data because it never leaves your devices.
What stays on your iPhone
- Tasks, habits, countdowns, water logs, and settings. Stored on your device so the app and its widgets can read them.
- Calendar and Reminders. Read from Apple Calendar and Reminders only after you grant permission, and only to display upcoming items. We read them, we never write them anywhere else, and we never copy them off the device.
- Health data. Steps, active energy, exercise minutes, workouts, and sleep are read from Apple Health only after you grant permission, and only to display your daily activity. Glance never writes to Health, never shares health data with anyone, and never uses it for advertising or marketing.
iCloud backup
Your tasks, habits, countdowns, and settings back up to your own private iCloud account so they return when you reinstall the app. That storage belongs to you and is governed by Apple. We have no access to it.
Permissions you control
Calendar, Reminders, Health, and Notifications are each optional and each can be turned off at any time in the iOS Settings app. Glance keeps working with any of them disabled, showing less information.
Children
Glance is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date above.
