Glance puts your calendar, tasks, timer, and activity in one live panel on your Lock Screen. Here are the answers people ask for most.
iOS ends live activities after about 8 hours. Open Glance and the hub starts again. Turn on auto start in Hub settings so it returns every time you open the app.
On the Lock Screen, press and hold, tap Customize, tap the area under the clock, then choose Glance. On the Home Screen, press and hold an empty spot, tap Edit, tap Add Widget, then search for Glance.
The island shows Glance while the hub is live. Start the hub in Settings or start a timer. iPhone models without an island show the same panel on the Lock Screen instead.
Yes. Open Settings, choose Hub, then use the island designer. Every panel has its own choice, such as tasks left, steps, water, or your next event.
On your iPhone. Tasks, habits, and countdowns also back up to your own private iCloud so they return when you reinstall. Nothing is sent to us and there are no accounts.
Calendar and Reminders fill the calendar panel. Health fills the activity panel with steps, calories, exercise, and sleep. Both are read only and both are optional.
Open Glance to refresh. iOS limits how often background surfaces update, so opening the app pulls the newest events right away.
